Fancy meeting you here...it's been a while!

So...I don't have both of my memory cards with me right now, so I'm going to have to post all of that stuff another time. Meanwhile.....two weeks ago I was here:


This is the airport in San Jose, Costa Rica. We all look so happy! I don't really think it's because we were going home, though....maybe because we were all together. I cried later on this day, but I was able to keep it together until after everyone parted ways in Atlanta. :)

This is where I am now! I can't even capture how huge the trees are...I think I just might have to get one of those cheesy pics of me hugging an enormous redwood or something, just to get my point across. At any rate...the energy in these woods is AMAZING.
The Costa Rica pics will be coming soon, guys. If my computer were working I would have it all set for you...but that's another can of worms.

Today´s my last day in the urban jungle, and I´ll soon be off to the real thing. That also might mean no access to internet, so I´m updating now. My German hostel room mates took off this morning for Ecuador, and Bill left for the West Coast. We have to check out by 11 today...and hopefully the hotel we´re scheduled to stay at tonight will let us check in or at least leave our stuff there. Otherwise we´ll be parousing good ´ol San Jose with everything we have on our backs. Not good. Today I also have to be careful not to get too much sun, and drink lots of water. I got a bit of a tan yesterday, but not enough to protect me today. SPF 50 here I come!
